Shabbat Shalom from Camp Eisner
Shabbat Shalom from Camp Eisner
Shabbat Shalom from camp Eisner. For the past two weeks I've had the pleasure of serving as faculty at camp Eisner. Recently we've been talking with the kids about our carbon footprint, that is the impact we have on the planet environmentally. Being here at camp I have come to realize that TBD, despite its size, has a very large footprint in the Jewish community. Our temple will be recognized this weekend for sending such a high percentage of our kids to Jewish camp. Our kids are having a great time and will be bringing back so many skills and solid Jewish experiences that we will all benefit from as a community.
So while we should all be thinking of how we can make our carbon footprint smaller, I'm happy to say that our Jewish footprint is only getting bigger!
Shabbat Shalom!
