Help Cheshire's Seasonal Farm Workers
Another year has passed, and Dr. Bruce Gould of the UConn Medical Center and his medical associates have set up no charge health clinics at farms throughout Connecticut for Seasonal Workers. We, at Temple Beth David have contacted him regarding Cheshire’s Seasonal farm workers. I am happy to report that the UCHC will be contacting all Cheshire farms to schedule clinics. In the interim, the workers are in great need of the following items: Please review this list and contribute what you can. We would like to “fill the bucket,” located in the Temple lobby, by July 5th, 2018. “If not now, tell me when?"
Urgent Need: Varying prescription strengths of reading glasses (male styles), Sunglasses, Hot packs/cold packs, Work Gloves, Socks (adult sizes), Deodorant/Antiperspirant, Sun block (SPF 30 or higher), Bug spray, Cool wraps for neck, Reusable Water bottles, Personal size coolers (to keep waters/lunches cold), Ice packs to fit coolers.
